Hope ReStored: furnishing a future, helping people find home again.

At Habitat for Humanity, we believe everyone deserves a decent place to call home. Simple home furnishings—a sturdy chair to sit, a comfortable bed to rest, a welcoming table for meals—these items are easy to overlook, but are vital to a sense of comfort, pride, and dignity. Through the Hope ReStored program—a special partnership between the City of Canton, local organizations, and Habitat for Humanity ReStore in Canton—low to moderate income families can receive free vouchers to get the items they need.

Apply to be a Hope ReStored Partner

Thank you for applying to Habitat for Humanity East Central Ohio’s (HFHECO) Hope ReStored program. HFHECO believes that everyone deserves a decent place to lay their head at night. Hope ReStored is a collaborative effort between HFHECO and Habitat ReStore to assist low- to moderate-income (LMI) individuals and families who need modest furniture and household items due to difficult situations. Hope ReStored allows HFHECO and Habitat ReStore to partner with other like-minded organizations to provide their clients access to gently used furniture, appliances, mattresses, and household goods. This voucher program allows individuals and families to select these items with dignity and pride.

Hope ReStored is available to qualifying applicants serving LMI residents residing in Stark County, Ohio. Funding for Hope ReStored is limited, and, therefore, is on a first come, first served basis.

Vouchers are available in $25 increments, and clients may be given multiple vouchers based on their individual needs. Please see the enclosed pricing sheet for estimated costs of furniture and home good items at ReStore. Vouchers will only be honored at Habitat for Humanity ReStore in Canton.
